Your First Visit

What can you expect to see when visiting Faith for the first time?

As you enter the church, an usher will hand you a worship folder which will include the “Order of Worship.” It provides information about the service, including hymns and songs, Bible readings, and the message--making the service easy to follow. Expect the service to last for approximately one hour. The complete service will also be projected on a large screen allowing you to worship "hands free" if you choose!

There is plenty of seating available in the church. Guests are never singled out. You will not be requested to stand up, wear a name tag, or do anything that might be embarrassing. There is an attendance card on the seat backs in front of you that members and guests will be asked to fill out and place in the offering plate later in the service. If you wish, please register your attendance as a guest and let us know that you attended worship with us. We leave it up to you to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable doing.

We pass an offering plate during the service in which our members place their gifts and tithes for God’s work at Faith and throughout the world. As a guest, you are not expected to give an offering if you do not feel that you wish to participate. We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday in our worship services. Please review our Holy Communion Policy in order to understand our beliefs and to make an informed decision on whether or are prepared to participate.

You may be wondering how you should dress to attend worship at Faith. We have a friendly and casual atmosphere that allows you to dress in the way you feel most comfortable, including anything from jeans to business casual to suit and tie.

Children are always welcome to worship. If, however, you have children and would appreciate having a staffed nursery during worship services (for infants and toddlers), we provide that service. There is also a "cry room" at the back of the church where parents can attend to their child and still hear and participate in worship. We also have Sunday School for children and adults at 9:45 a.m. If you have any questions about childcare, please check with an usher for assistance or contact us with your questions.

I like Faith. I think I may want to make this my church what?
